Viagra Boys reveal how their new album Welfare Jazz changed into impressed through nation tune

Viagra Boys' frontman Sebastian Murphy discussed the inspirations behind the band's new album Welfare Jazz on the latest episode of our livestream sequence The list club.

Discussing the listing's art, which facets a pianting through the singer and lyricist of a cowboy giving therapy to a dog, he spoke of: "The checklist has this cowboy theme to it, in a method."

"at the time of recording that i was just being attentive to a shit load of country and that i'd lately damaged up with my my girlfriend," he noted. "There became all these exceptional nation lyrics about getting left and hit in the street and simply doing something new, no longer being phased via it - I simply desired to include that feeling I guess. 

"If I ever do a solo project I believe it would be a country album."
